ONLINE PHOTO CARD COMPANY BEGINS
HIGH-END CARD STOCK OFFERING
July 13, 2009 – Edmond, OK – In addition to its high-quality photo paper offering, Photo Card Café (PCC – www.PhotoCardCafe.com) today begins providing all of its customers the option of card stock paper on every card, allowing for a more classic, higher-end look and feel.
Pricing for the new paper will start at $1 per card for the 4X6 size, and $1.35 for 5X7s. “It’s a small price to pay over our $.89 and $1.30 photo paper pricing for a thicker, premium coated stock,” said Sara Watterson, CEO of PCC. “We know that our customers will appreciate the new option on our site, and hope that the extra paper choice will bring another set of customers to PCC who prefer something other than the photo paper look and feel.”
PCC, after a full site redesign in 2008, will have a wider and more updated look by fall of 2009 to evoke a more modern feel to its products. Another site branching off from PCC is in the works as well – www.ThankYouCardCafe.com (TCC) – due out in late 2009. With this site will come more options for folded and flat thank you cards and stationery, as well as reasonable pricing and fabulous designs.
About Photo Card Café
Photo Card Café began its Web presence in June of 2006. Sara Watterson, president and CEO, created the small business from the ground up. While working in Edmond, Okla. as a Web and print designer for years, and then becoming a stay-at-home mother with her own design firm, PCC thrived and swelled as an online business. With an extremely successful 2006, Watterson decided to bring on longtime friend and college roommate Sara Hejl of Austin, Texas as her VP and CMO in 2007. Hejl spent seven years in advertising and PR, and, becoming weary of the agency race, quit her job in account service to assist Watterson and become a stay-at-home mom herself. Now that the business has expanded considerably, "The Saras" have enjoyed considerable growth over the past three years, and continue to grow on into 2009 in one of the most popular and exciting industries on the Web.
